Local bus services have been upgraded to operate:
- 6am-9pm on weekdays;
- 8am-9pm on Saturdays and public holidays; and
- 9am-9pm on Sundays, Christmas Day and Good Friday.

- Route 708 Hampton to Carrum - 94 extra trips / week
- Route 767 Southland to Box Hill - 110 extra trips / week
- Route 811 Dandenong to Brighton - 84 extra trips / week
- Route 812 Dandenong to Brighton - 104 extra trips / week
A great boost for passengers on the 811 and 812, to connect them to the metro rail network. And residents of Dingley Village who now have Sunday services for the first time
